sept 27,09: Hi, This page is an introduction to "Angel Calls" - The Enochian and Ophanim- Angelic - Language and principles of communication. Most of this is from Vincent Bridges. I am involved in certain aspects where we can describe the science and physics behind "how you telephone the great plasma beings"..
Since our recent articles- promising further developments for those who wanted to learn to CALL THE ANGELS.. we are pleased to suggest some next steps here - for those who have expressed interest. Note below Vincent (with some collaboration from me on the science) has proposed a series of courses on the Angel science and workings- for those ready to do the work. The actual process of learning the symmetry operations which embed in ANGEL BODIES- is quite a syntax to learn- but VERY expanding to the aura. By learning the magic and physics of plasma beings that inhabit stars- we wake up inside a MUCH bigger dreamspell.. WE expand the coherence of the BA (superluminal portion of our bio-plasma) squeezed like a seed from the husk of the KA (immediate coherence of our aura-as 'boat to the underworld'). Plus we gain the angelic evolution and satisfaction of learning to steer (by embedding in) VERY large tornados- tornados who are lonely until we sit at their wheel.
Our general concept has been - among others- that one of the best ways for the Earth to survive the solar plasma wind- is to speak to the being of stellar mind.. "Angel" who inhabits that tornado. In the same way - we recognize potential loving intelligence we find in the centripedal plasma fields of nature and the plant kingdom called elementals and nature spirits- when we see the intelligence of living plasma on a stellar scale- we must come to realize how much love and mind is also present there... if we are to qualify like them to learn to inhabit stars - with our aura. Shakespeare’s Secret Identity Revealed:
New Research Shows the Bard as Spy/Alchemist ( from Vincent Bridges )
In a lecture on “Shakespeare and Dr. Dee,” American independent scholar and esoteric historian Vincent Bridges will reveal William Shakespeare’s secret identity during his so-called Lost Years. The result of five years of research by Bridges and his co-author Teresa Burns, the identification of William Shakespeare with the previously unidentified “Francis Garland” of Dr. John Dee’s diaries reveals a completely new perspective on the Bard’s life and work. Not only was he an intimate of occultists and spies, but also he may have witnessed an alchemical transmutation.
“If we make the identification of Dee’s “Francis Garland” with the rising playwright William Shakespeare then most of the mysteries surrounding Shakespeare’s life disappear like actors at the end of a play. A sudden light is thrown on the so-called lost years, and a real person, not a cipher or a mask, emerges,” comments author Vincent Bridges. “Comparing the dates when Dee notes Francis Garland in his diaries with the known dates of Shakespeare’s life shows clearly that the idea is impossible to disprove,” Bridges continues, “Francis Garland appears in Dee’s diary from December 1586 through March of 1595, and in all that time we find not a single instance of Shakespeare being somewhere else when Francis Garland was visiting Dee.”
John Dee was the Einstein of the era, a mathematician, astronomer, astrologer, geographer, and occultist, who collected the largest library in England and one of the best in Europe. Beginning in the early 1580s, Dee, along with his “scyer” or clairvoyant Edward Kelley, conducted a years long series of communications with “angelic intelligences.” In 1583, Dee, Kelley and their families embarked on a kind of apocalyptic missionary journey in which they attempted to enlisted both Stephen I and Rudolph II, the rulers of Poland and The Holy Roman Empire. Dee returned to England in 1589, leaving Edward Kelley behind in Prague. Kelley apparently died in Prague sometimes during the mid 1590s while attempting to escape from one of Rudolph II’s prisons.
In this arena of politics and magic, intrigue and espionage, and against the backdrop of the Spanish Armada and Dee and Kelley’s angelic conversations, wife-swapping, and alchemy, Shakespeare grew from a wide-eyed innocent into the greatest playwright of all time, discovering his real talents, and the great themes of his future plays, in his own experiences, including his tempestuous romance with the Dark Lady of the sonnets. “This is truly a cosmic detective story,” continues author Vincent Bridges, “one with a little of everything: romance, intrigue, occultism, international politics and the clash of faiths and realities that created our modern world.”
Vincent Bridges is an author and esoteric historian best known as the co-author of Mysteries of the Great Cross at Hendaye: Alchemy and the End of Time and for his work on Nostradamus for the History Channel. Teresa Burns is a professor of English at the University of Wisconsin at Platteville and is the author, along with Vincent Bridges, of Shakespeare, John Dee and the Hermetic Revolution: Alchemy and Espionage in the Magickal Theatre of Elizabethan England.

What if a higher form of intelligence contacted humanity 400 years ago with the specific language that would allow us to embed our intentionality into the on-coming plasma storm of the galactic superwave? Thirteen years ago, a small group of intrepid psychonauts completed the basic instructions and received a jolt of informational energy that is just now, in the nick of time, coming to fruition.
The Ophanic or Angelic language, also known as Enochian in the broader sense, was transmitted to Dr. John Dee and his medium Sir Edward Kelley in a series of sessions from 1582 to 1589. Forming the core of several obscure magical traditions and societies in the subsequent centuries, Ophanic or Enochian remains one of the most obscure of the western mysteries, and one of the most misunderstood. Recently, the application of higher dimensional geometries has made it possible for us to see the complex system as a whole, and in a way that Dee and Kelley never could.
This lecture/workshop is designed to give a basic overview of the sacred geometry, and the higher dimensional geometry, that make the Ophanic language so unique, and possibly so important for our time.

Alchemy and espionage at the court of Rudolph II
In his now-famous diary, on December 19, 1586, John Dee writes:
19 Dec. On the 19th day (by the new calendar), to please Master Edward Garland (who had been sent as a messenger from the Emperor of Muscovy to ask me to come to him, etc) and his brother Francis, E.K. made a public demonstration of the philosophers’ stone in the proportion of one grain (no bigger than the least grain of sand) to 1 oz and a 1⁄4 of common (mercury) and almost 1 oz of the best gold was produced. When we had weighed the gold, we divided it up and gave the crucible to Edward at the same time.
Who are these “Garland brothers” who witnessed such a significant demonstration? Could one of them, Francis Garland, be the cover name for secret agent and courier William Shakespeare? If in fact Dee’s courier was William Shakespeare, this connection to John Dee and Edward Kelley and their intersecting magical and alchemical circles can help us answer two of the most vexing question in Shakespearian scholarship: first, why is it so difficult to find references to the Bard in his own time? And second, how and why does the work of someone who is all but invisible through 1593 become associated with the plays that for more than two decades dominate Elizabethan and Jacobean drama, and become the most-read and most-performed plays in the English language?

Vincent Bridges, historian, author and self-proclaimed “anthropologist of the weird,” is the co-author of A Monument to the End of Time: Alchemy, Fulcanelli and the Great Cross, by Jay Weidner and Vincent Bridges (Aethyrea Books, 1999, 2000), as well as Mysteries of the Great Cross at Hendaye: Alchemy and the End of Time (Destiny Books, 2003), and Interlude with Sally Hemings: Diary of a Spiritual Healing by R.J. Gabriel, with Vincent Bridges. His work on Fulcanelli is included in Forbidden Religion: Suppressed Heresies of the West, edited by J. D. Kenyon (Bear and Company, 2006), and his groundbreaking work on Dr. John Dee is included in The Consecrated Little Book of Black Venus, translated by Teresa Burns and Nancy Turner (Waning Moon Publications, 2007). He is also a consulting geomancer or earth grid engineer and designer of the Zodiacal Earth Temple.
Vincent Bridges has been instrumental in the creation of three educational organizations: The Fifth Way Mystery School, The Newport Earth Institute, and Pendragon College. Vincent Bridges is an initiate of five different spiritual traditions: he is a Wiccan, a Gnostic non-denominational Christian minister, a Golden Dawn-style ceremonial magician, the holder of the barakah of the founder of the Abu Al Hagagg Sufis of Luxor Egypt, and is a terton or terma treasure holder of the Nyngma-pa tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. He lives in the Uwharrie Mountains of North Carolina with his wife, the artist Darlene, and their three cats.

Two of the original Sedona psychonauts, Dan Winter and Vincent Bridges, are taking the next step. The goal is to have a significant group of people, perhaps as few as 144, who are deeply conversant with Ophanic and the psycho-spiritual system that grows out from it.
Unfortunately, this is not as easy as it sounds… It will require a lot of work and dedication, and so is not for the faint of heart or the weak of will. Basically, learning Ophanic is much like learning Martian; the process will change the very nature of who you are and how you see the universe.
Over two years, starting in the spring of 2010 and continuing until the summer of 2012, will be devoted to classes and conferences designed to take our volunteers from a basic ground zero level to the point of at least operational mastery of the language and the system. The next six months will be devoted to fieldwork, as we use our new information and skills to interact with and steer the great shift as it approaches.
We are also preparing a book with the core information, entitled The Ophanic Revelation: Angelic Science for the End of Time. The converging myths of world traditions about the shape of spiritual hierarchy struck to the heart again today. An amazing tribal shaman called twice from South Australia today. We spent over an hour on the phone. He was quite emphatic that the Ophanim we have been "opening our phone line" here to, are quite literally also the great winged guides of the ancient Australian aboriginals. We spoke at length about the great bird shaped angelic body associated with Illuru (Ayer's Rock), and he identified the same winged angelic body coming to incarnate with the Dove shape over North America as depicted in Keys of Enoch.
I began to think about all the years we spent preparing ritual to inhabit the body parts of the great Eagle in the shape of the head of the Appalachin mountains in Pennsylvania, the "Keystone" State.
Then I remembered Robert MorningSky describing in detail the difference between the great Angelic "Aku" vs "Dracu" forces in spiritual history. The Aku translate to "bird tribe, " Ophanim", a lineage focused on the use of spiritual power of the mind and visualization. The Ophanim appear to be the inspirers of the great body of the bird shape in the Templar Cathedra Zodiac landscape. The Aperture from Sirius to Orion in the transmigration of souls, being again the magnetic issue.
The Dracu translate to Draconian, Reptilian, Setian, forces focused on technological and mechanical evolution, generally associated with control by fear and agression.
In the Gnosis article about John Dee booby trapping the future, the message is indeed that the planting of the Ophanim inspired Enochian letters was leverage to avoid apocalyse. If we translate Apocalyse at one level as an Epoch of the Ellipse as Jay suggests, then Enochian calls become leverage to face the Draconian/Reptilian presence on the Ellipse of Hale Bopp. (The Fourth HorseMan??).
All of this sounds too simplistic at first, but after Vincent and I completed the enclosed 2 hour video on Enochian Physics, we went outside to perform the symmetry operations of ritual to shape Enochian Temple. The presence was powerful, the Thoth/Tehuti energy seemed very present. Later a storm came up and the clouds made a dramtic Vpointing right to the site of the ritual. We issued a call to those who could hold the space and call forth the Angels with us, and next day out of the blue the Aboriginal leader calls from South Australia, heard of me, and describes the Ophanim quite explicitly as his guides.
The politics as described by Morningsky, were of an alliance between a more rebellious Sirian Prince geneticist and the Aku- Bird Tribes. The undertow was of a seed to a genepool which could link theheavy emotions and passion of the Reptilian/Draconian, with the high spiritual intention of the Bird Tribes. The result could be a species able to use powerful Serpent Force emotions, in the service of Angelic creation directly. Up to this point, in a sense, we have high spiritual beings, with limited leverage into matter. The human experiment created the possibility of human nervous sytems and emotions, with feeling bodies capable of bending galaxies.
Interestingly, when John McGovern, our Australian shamnic friend, told the Aboriginals he was going to call down the Angelic forces, they responded with fear at the anger the Angelics would have.
They believed there would be retribution for not have kept the strict martital breeding laws of the ancient angelic ones. This rang a chord from the Morningsky description of the origins of our sex guilt coming from the early DNA experiments which required strict attention to which breeding pairs were permitted to mate, to preserve the most self-aware self-replicating forces in the genepool. Mating decisions were sacred, and required elaborate rubrics for permission. This is still true of Aboriginals today.
Vincent described the attempt of the Shadow government to re-incarnate/ contact the forces of Set. You described the danger of the incarnation of Ahrimann. The parallels are too dramatic to ignore. The terms Draconian, Typhon, Reptilian, Sauroid, Set, Ahrimanic etc.. seem rather interchangeable.
Angelic communication apparently has the pure principle of symmetry operations based on recursion. This would be our way of embedding our lives inside their waveform. According to Vincent, the Ophanim need to know that we have attempted to speak their language. The symbol set they have given us is the Enochian keys. The wave guide shapes of the Enochian alphabet are reminiscent of the black hole geometries which Bentov saw as the cookie cutters aligning the eddies within which galaxies were created (in his Cosmic Book). Their name and shape and waveguide in principle were all one.
The heart of the Enochian script seems to be this pent (5) inside a 7 spin. This is clearly the 5 cube hypercube in the seven spin tetra inside icosa. The five spin space of the Hypercube/dodeca nests in the seven spin of the Heart muscle, based on the 7 spins of the tetra, note parallel to Enochian:
This is much more fractal than the cubeocta (unpacked tetra) geometric root of the Hebrew symbols. Clearly, the Iburu script for gene spicing the the Hebrew was a more regional and parcochial kind of symmetry set.
John Dee could not or would not shake our world by practicing the Enochian he was taught. Apocalyse awaited. Now with Apocalyse apparently here, the time for "calling all angels" may well be at hand.

OK, several points to begin with:
A) We do not have enough information to speculate accurately on the system of origin of any of the Ahau rescue team. We are told in Egyptian sources that the 4 million plus Ahau, or spiritual beings, came from a large number of different worlds. On the wall of the transverse vault of the Osirieon, and in the 146th chapter of the Book of the Dead, the worlds then a part of the sentient or Osirian federation are listed along with the Osiris of each system. If we follow Hurtak's information and think of Arcturus as a transit link, then in a sense the rescue team comes from, or through, Arcturus. Playing guessing games about which aliens are from where, and what political leanings they might have, is a distraction from what should be our main purpose. We must develop, individually and as a species, the galactic norm of sentience. Only with that accomplished will we be able to resist any outside influence, good or bad. The Ahau are not interested in fear trips; they only respond to the solid attainment of a stable sentient structure of ecstatic self-awareness.
B) Hebrew is vitally important. As Hurtak says, it is the local control language for this part of the galaxy. On earth, its symmetry set defines the nature of sacred language by generating a cohesive matrix in which the other horizontal and vertical sacred languages can operate. Its unfolding in the form of a cube-octahedron suggests its planetary nature, and which allows it to phase-lock with higher organizational patterns. The cube seems to be the basic form in which Hebrew unpacks its space/time locality. As such, it appears to be a 3D construct. In the Sepher Yetsirah and other sources we are told that the Tree of Life is actually a 5D construct. The dimensions are listed as 3 of space, one of time and one of morality, or centropy and entropy. Hypercubal geometry, that is a geometry of higher dimensional organization, is the very root of the Enochian system. The shadow of a 5D cube in 2 dimensions creates a design that embodies the union of pent and hex while organizing the Tree of Life into its "seed" or closest packing form. The Enochian or Angelic material can not be accessed directly. A channel must be formed of Hebrew resonances in order to open the Enochian itself. The Hebrew forms a link between our consciousness and the non-local consciousness of the angelic logoi; without it the Enochian would simply blow us away.
C) The nature of the Enochian intelligences is an important question. They are, at the most inclusive level, the seven symmetry angles, or angels, of the tetrahedronal quark from which the universe around us is formed. Along with these are the four sub-atomic fields of operation, which we call for convenience the elemental forces. These "beings" are far beyond our comprehension, as pure being. We grip them by their "names" or descriptive titles. Enochian not only supplies powerfully descriptive "names," it supplies a framework through which their operation in the lower worlds, the worlds below the realm of pure being, can be charted. These charts, or hardware chips, are the Four Watchtowers and the Tablet of Union. In these matrices, the forces are personalized and symbolizes so that an operator can steer their consciousness, much like the help balloons or other icons help us navigate our computer systems. These "beings" are what the Tibetans call self-generated, that is they function and exist separate from the individual but they are activated, or animated, only when another mind is present. The deities said to reside the Kalichakra mandala are similar types of self-generated beings. In fact, there are many connnections between the Enochian system and the Kalichakra. (Another book I have planned someday!)
D) In working with the Enochian system for over twenty years, (Yipes! Has it been that long!) I have discovery an important truth. The system itself is as neutral as the electric wiring in our homes. It can be used in both good and bad ways, but the sysytem itself is neither. Enochian opens levels of communication and synchronicty in the same way that the lights come on when I hit the switch, if the components are properly wired together. However, if I am going to design an electric motor, for instance, then I need to understand the theory and equations behind electricty. With the Enochian, we are designing a new type of magickal appliance. It could be one to bring on the Apocalypse, or it could be one to respond directly to the rescue team and avoid the Apocalypse. That choice is ours; and how good we do with the design will determine how, and perhaps if, we survive.
E) The purpose of our Enochian based magickal appliance would be to make contact with the galactic intelligences in charge of the humanity rescue operation. A properly designed appliance would be a matter/energy transmitter/receiver capable of packing and unpacking tremendously coherent bundles of information. This seems to have been the reason why the Enochian material was so thoroughly downloaded, and yet proscribed from actual operations until the timing was right. The material had to filter through enough users to reach a saturation level. This occurred in the mid 1890's, concurrent with the great airship flaps. For the last hundred years, work on the system has progressed to the point that just now, in the last five years, have isolated groups of magical explorers stumbled on its true value. At the moment, we are at the front of the pack. Because of this, it may be our responsibilty to do something concrete with the system.
F) In learning the basics of how to operate the Enochian system, the participant absorbs and internalizes the Hebrew resonances from the Meta-Progamming Protocol. This, all by itself, is a vast step toward a stable sentience. The abilty to move the subtle elemental forces down the level of densely braided DNA creates a degree of body/mind/spirit coherence that is required for free-will and self-determination. The Supreme Ritual of the Pentagram and the Enochian opening of the Veil generates a highly usable flow of spiritual energy, which is in turn shaped into the basic dodeca pattern required to support the Enochian operating system. As Hebrew is cube oriented, and therefore hex based, Enochian is dodeca based and consequently inclusive of both hex and pent. Just learning the basics, how to hit the light switch so to speak, generates psychic stability. Done properly, this level of training insures against mis-use of the greater forces in the Enochian system.
G) As for the planned working, I have been instructed recently that we have some leeway on when, where and what. Here's what I've been told:
1) The area where we have no slack is who. We must have at least 5 people, 3 of whom must be at an Adept level, that is they must have the basics down cold and have taken their Oath of Obligation, or a similar bodhisatvic vow, to work for the good of all sentient beings throughout the universe. Beyond this, we are limited only by the level of understanding each individual brings to the work. No disinterested observers in other words; everybody works on this one.
2) When is flexible depending on how the group shapes up. Where is anywhere we can find a geomantic plug-in point. Sedona is listed as optimum, along with Mt. Shasta, Mt. Rogers, Sakkara, Swayambunath in Nepal, Samye Monastery in Tibet, and Hawaii. These seven plug-in points are listed as the best, but I was told that thousands of other sites would work, if everything else was up to speed.
3) What we are to do is both simple and exceedingly complex. Another book seems necessary to cover this one, but I'll try to be brief. We have the Egyptian Orb of Ra and its activation module as the center piece of the working. On the grid of the module is the Sigil of Truth. The group generates a full-stack hypercube fully tensioned in all five dimensions and 26 sub-sets. From this metaxic monad, we then build the Watchtower structure through vibratory and visualization experience, and then activate it through the first 18 calls. Then, we generate the Aethers, or thirty edges and faces of our icosa/dodeca hologramic simulation of reality. We crystalize this hologram by focusing on the silent Tablet of Nalvage which controls the 49th Call. We focus at that point on receiving the influx of information and dialing up the rescue team. I am told that if we get this far, guidance will be given in a clear and unmistakable form. We will also be instructed on how maintain the contact and teach others quickly how to reach the same point.
OK, that's my input/explanation. My feeling is that we are so close that the Ophanim, etc., are holding their breath. We just might get this figured out before everything blows up. Conversely, you can figure that the other side, the Setian forces, know as much as we do and are counting on our inability to get it together in time. They of course are shocked that we would even try it, much less that we have the ability to pull it off. Secrecy is not so important as clarity of purpose and focusing on the essentials. They can't do what we are planning, they can only impede us. From this perspective, the fear angle is useless. We should be afraid only of not getting it done if we know how important it might be.

A) Preparations

B) Personnel
1) Pure Intent versus Adeptship -- Pure intent is helpful, but the specific initiations of the outer GD order are designed to create a physical phase-lock between the individual and the Hebrew/Enochian structure. To work this properly, that is safely and effectively, we need a minimum core of three Adepti who have undergone the process in one form or another. Beyond this, pure intent and as much clear information as the individual can grok are the basic requirements. We can work with a mixed group of Adepti and PIs, as long we have the minimum number to interact with the structure.
2) Training the Group -- The nature of the training can be broken down into three levels: Adepti/Operators, PI/Supporters and general group mind. A consenus level of basic information and goals needs to be generated so that everyone is clear on the nature and purpose of the work.
a) Adepti/Operators -- Must understand the geometry and symmetry set origin of, and be able to work, the basic full-stack ritual components: Meta-Programming Protocol, Elemental Hex, SRP, Macro-hex, LVX and Veil Opening. Must be able to open the Sigil of Truth; visualize in correct 3D and actualize the Elemental Tablets and the Tablet of Union; perform the Keys of Opening; and mentally perform the operations of the 49th Key.
b) PI/Supporters -- Must understand the geometry, scope and purpose of the experiment; and be able to work the Meta-Programming Protocol. Also, an awareness of the nature of the work being done by the Adepti is required. Should be grounded in basic group-mind and information testing, psychic self-defense and simple mind/body integration techniques.
c) General Group Mind Training -- As a whole, the exploration team needs to focus primarily on group-mind development. The synergy of diverse minds focusing on the sound/light/thought/symbol wave guides of the Enochian system is the very mechanism that allows these animated holograms to interact. We must learn interactive "substance-of-we-feeling." This is a more difficult trick than learning all the magickal operations. On this level, everyone starts at the begining and we all learn together.
C) Location and Logistics
1) Sedona seems the most logical choice for many reasons. Within the Sedona area, Bell Rock Mt. appears the most appropriate. Given the work done there in 1989, seven years ago, the location would seem to be primed and ready to go.
2) Getting the team to Sedona and having the time necessary to train is the most important consideration. Preparation for the working, in terms of preparing notes, charts, etc. is a full time job for the next month. We should also consider documenting the experiment -- video, audio, whatever -- particularly during the operation itself.
D) Purpose of the Working -- If we look at the current condition of the collective unconscious, we find that the apocalypse is already in progress. This is a natural by-product of the End of Time, Kali Yuga, Hell Age spiritual paradigm that we are undergoing. Apocalyptic revelations are a recurring theme in human mythology. However, they have seldom been as universal and compelling as they are at the present. If we see this merely as an artifact of the electronic media, we miss a large piece of the puzzle: we created the electronic mass media because the paradigm required a global consciousness. Four hundred years, almost to the day, after the last Enochian transmission to Dee and Kelly, I vibrated all 48 keys in the proper elemental order at Bell Rock in Sedona, Arizona. That night, a group of 120 people "anchored the Blue Light" on Bell Rock. I performed the main ritual and included the proper Enochian elemental names. There was indeed a massive influx of energy; and just coincidentally the fall of the Berlin Wall and communism in Eastern Europe happened that week. Now, seven years after that, and one hundred years after the Golden Dawn received the last of its Enochian information, we are setting out on the next logical step.
By properly formulating the Enochian Temples of the Elemental Tablets, energizing them with the Sigil of Truth and the Orb module, and then actualizing them with the Elemental Keys, we create the psychic hardware of a vast, non-local computer system. The Aethyric Keys operate as software, booting up the assembled components. The Governors and The Good Angels are programs that can run on the system. Following this metaphor, the purpose of this working is to construct this inclusive spiritual computer then called up Evolution Central and ask for further instructions.
In a sense, this is both the Apocalypse and the antithesis of the Apocalypse. The most important consideration, from our point of view, is the clarity of our understanding and the purity of our intent. Once the system comes on-line, it is our values that will color the reception. The less noise we create, the more information we can receive.

A) Elemental Calls - The 1st & 2nd Calls are vibrated, then 3rd through 18th in the elemental invoking order. As Call is vibrated, group focuses on appropriate Tablet or quarter.
B) The Calls of the Aethyrs - The same Call is repeated 30 times, with the change each time of the 3 letter name of the Aethyr. This is done slowly, letting each Aethyr develop before going on to the next. Visualize as rings or concentric circles or the edges of both the dodecahedron and the icosahedron.
C) The 49th Call of Silence - The Call is repeated silently, with the 4 letter name off the Sigil of Truth. The group maintains focus by silently vibrating the 4 letter name. See the telepathic sound opening up the space from atmosphere to orbit of Moon.

arrangement is familiar from the development of the hyper-cube
within the Meta-Programming Protocol. In that instance, the 16
Hebrew letters used to spell the four letter names of God in
the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram are used to form a 4D octahedron;
eight letters, A, D, N, Y, G, V, L, and H, form the outer surface
of the 3D octahedron. The repeated letters, A, (3) Y, (1) V,
(2) and H(2) form the inner cells of the 4D octahedron. The vertices
of this 4D octahedron form the cells of the hyper-cube created
by the four pentagrams and the four godnames. The archangelic
names form the four faces and hidden center point of a tetrahedral
symmetry generator that animates the hyper-cube.   Unlike the Hebrew
16-cell 4D figure, which uses only eight of 22 letters and delineates
no further internal 4D components, but is used at every working,
the Ophanic 4D octahedron is fully developed structurally and
never used directly in the Ophanic Language or system. It seems
to be a mental construct designed to be absorbed by the unconscious
and then used to leverage the interactions of the system at the
level of the DNA. It is helpful to think of the Ophanic 4D octahedron
as a seed containing all the possible DNA derived probability
waves. In other words, the literal matrix of creation. In
1584, Dee and Kelly received instructions on how to convert the
squares of some of the tablets in the Liber Logaeth into invocations
or calls. This time, the angels provided a translation. The language
that emerged had English phonology and grammar, but the roots
and other vocabulary elements are not directly derivable from
English, Latin, Greek, or Hebrew. Some roots are similar to Sanskrit
and Egyptian, but some are simply alien in construction and pronunciation.                       |

During the spring of 1581, John Dee had a close encounter with an angel. He was praying in the chapel of his Mortlake home when a sharp rapping sound drew him to the curtained windows. Throwing aside the drapes, John Dee came face to face with a shining being floating a full 12 feet off the ground. The being gestured for Dee to open the window. When he did, the shining figure handed him a smoky quartz egg about the size of a baby's head. Dee took the quartz egg, and the figure vanished.
It is easy, from a modern perspective, to dismiss this incident as a superstitious legend, but the crystal still exists, on display in the Manuscript Room of the British Museum. Dr. Dee kept careful records and made notes almost obsessively. We have notes on the construction of his other scrying glasses, as these types of crystals were known, but nothing, except the above incident, about the smoky quartz egg. Even Dee's first biographer, Meric Causabon, who was anything but sympathetic, simply reports the origin of the crystal without comment.
However strange this encounter may be, it is the use Dee made of his angelic gift that is the crux of the story.
John Dee was born in 1527 and his formative years were colored by the religious turmoil brought on by the Reformation. Dee's family, through which he would later claim distant kinship with Queen Elizabeth, arrived in London in the wake of Henry Tudor's coronation as Henry VII. His father was a gentlemen's gentleman for Henry VIII, and John Dee's character was molded in a climate of religious protest and reaction. By the time he went up to Cambridge at fifteen, he was searching for a resolution to the problem of religious authority, seeking a type of spiritual science that could supply insight into the workings of nature by infusing the natural world with mystical meaning.
After studying at Cambridge and Louvain, Dee achieved the status of renaissance celebrity in 1550 with a lecture on mathematics and the spiritual aspect of number at the University of Paris. During the reign of Edward VI, Dee became involved in the political maneuverings around the throne and by the summer of 1555 found himself in prison on an unspecified ecclesiastical charge. Catholic Mary, "Bloody Mary," had succeeded the young Edward and times were tough for Protestant mathematicians and magicians, especially for those known to have cast horoscopes of the Queen. Dee spent three months in prison. His cellmate went to the stake, as did over six hundred others, for witchcraft and heresy.
Dee survived his trial and lived to joke about it with his new patron, Queen Elizabeth I, who was also accused in the plot. Soon after her coronation, he was proclaimed the Royal Astrologer and given, specifically, freedom from ecclesiastical harassment. Dee settled in at his family home, Mortlake, which would eventually house the largest library of its time in all of Europe. Only the great national collections of the next century surpassed it. In the early 1580's Dee listed over 4000 thousand volumes, 3000 printed books and over 1000 in manuscript. The libraries of Oxford and Cambridge together numbered less than a quarter of that total. Mortlake acted as the Elizabethan equivalent of a university research center, and it was said that the library contained the whole of renaissance thought.
At the end of 1562, Dee departed on an expedition to the continent proposed by Lord Burleigh, Queen Elizabeth's chief minister, and Sir Francis Walsingham, the head of Elizabeth's intelligence service. The exact reason for this intelligence gathering venture remains unknown, although Lord Burleigh thought the "Monas Hierogliphica," which Dee published later during the trip, "of the utmost importance for the security of the realm." In a letter to Sir William Cecil, written in February 1563 from Antwerp, Dee announced that his quest had been successful already. Apparently, he had made contact with a group or society that taught him more about recondite philosophy, Dee writes, than he had dared hope possible. In the letter, Dee summarized the important points of the "Radical Truths" he had discovered. Rather than wade through several pages of Elizabethan prose, we can paraphrase:
*All is unity, created and sustained by God through his Laws.
*These Laws are predicated upon Number.
*There is an art of combining Hebrew letters and equating them with Number so as to perceive profound truths concerning the nature of God and His dealings with Man.
*Man is of divine origin. Far from being created out of dust, as in Genesis, he is in essence a "star-daemon:" a spirit connected with the stars.
*As such, he has come from God, and must return to Him.
It is essential to regenerate the Divine essence within Man, and this can be done by the powers of the Divine intellect.
*God manifests by means of ten progressively more dense emanations; and man, by dedicating his mind to the study of Divine Wisdom, by refining his whole being, and by eventual communion with the angels themselves, may at last enter into the presence of God.
*An accurate understanding of the natural processes, visible and invisible, enables Man to manipulate these processes through the powers of his will, intellect and imagination.
*Whatever is in the Universe possesses order and agreement and is similar in form to everything else.
In addition to these truths, Dee was excited about a book, the "Steganographica" of Trithemius, the Abbot of Sponheim. He spent ten days copying a manuscript of this work and crowed to Sir William about its value. The "Steganographica" appears to be a textbook on codes and ciphers, all very valuable to spies and intelligence networks, but is really a hermetic text on angelic communication. Designed so that the codes and ciphers described in the first section of the book must be used to read the second section on angelic magick, Trithemius' masterpiece works like our modern interactive games. The reader has absorbed the mind-set or world view of the book by the time the important information is reached.
This trip was the beginning of Dee's quest for the direct experience of his "Radical Truths." From Antwerp he departed on a year long tour of the great hermetic thinkers of his time. In the winter of 1564, he wrote The "Monas Hieroglyphica" in one long twelve day explosion of insight. In spite of its intentional obscurity, the "Monas Hieroglyphica" became the renaissance equivalent of a best seller and attracted comment from the best minds of the next century and a half.
At the center of the work is a talismanic diagram that resembles the astrological symbol for Mercury, but with some significant changes. From this symbol, Dee extrapolated a complex system of mystical geometry, which he thought embodied the underlying unity, or monas, of the universe. However, having no desire for a heresy charge, Dee left the application of this universal symbology rather vague.
His readers, who knew the code and could understand the meaning and implied practical applications, made Dee's work into one of the cornerstones of Alchemy. They thought that Dee had discovered a universal symbol that, when engraved in the psyche, would allow man to experience the gnostic revelation. This revelation, in which all knowledge -- gnosis -- was received, then allowed one to operate as a lens or focus for spiritual activity. We can think of this idea as the basic definition of a shaman or a magician.
After 1564, Dee published only mathematical and scientific works. His edition of Euclid, with the "Mathematical Preface," appeared in 1570, and in 1577 his "Perfect Arte of Navigation" was published. Virtually nothing else appeared in print in his lifetime. Apparently, during the 1570's, his interest in the "Radical Truths" came to outweigh everything else. Dee had achieved earthly fame and had made significant contributions to the development of several hard sciences in his own time. Increasingly, it must have seemed that only non-local, non-physical intelligences could answer Dee's ever more complex questions.
From 1563 on, Dee had the tools and the basic understanding to embark on an exploration of angelic communication, the idea that had led him to copy Trithemius with such excitement. His notes, however, record only a few attempts, done without much enthusiasm. That is, until the angel rapped on the window.
The logic of turning to supernatural forces for knowledge about the universe seems strange to our modern scientific sensibilities. This is a category of experience that "science" has labeled subjective and therefore suspect. To Dee's contemporaries it seemed less unusual. The possibility of acquiring knowledge by revelation or inspiration was a vital component of the renaissance paradigm. In the "Mathematical Preface" to his edition of Euclid, Dee asserts that man "participates with Spirits, and Angels: and is made to the Image and Similitude of God." He also notes that there are powerful precedents for angelic communication, the traditions of Enoch and Esdras, Abraham and Elijah and Moses, and "sundry others thy good angels were sent (to) by thy disposition, to Instruct them."
John Dee's encounter with the angel was the defining moment in his life. As if he had been waiting for just such a sign, some token of divine favor perhaps, Dee launched into a search for a way to use the quartz egg as a means of communication with the shining angelic beings. His first serious attempt, on December 22, 1581, involved a man by the curious name of Barnabus Saul, one of Dee's servants, who acted as a medium or seer. Apparently, he was a better footman than a medium, for after a few sessions we hear no more about him.
By March 1582, however, Dee's seer had located him.

"Mortlake: In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen. In the year 1582, on the 10th day of March, before noon, Saturday.
"One Mr. Edward Talbot came to my house and he being willing and desirous to see or show some thing in spiritual practice. . ."
So begin Dee's notes of his first scrying session with his new seer, Edward "Talbot" Kelly. At first, Dee was suspicious of the young man, and rightly so. He appeared unannounced, offering a fake name -- he might have been a spy seeking information on Dee's spirit conjurations -- and even when identified proved to have an unsavory reputation. Dee soon resolved his doubts however; and, on an early spring morning roughly a year after Dee's angelic visitation, they sat down to a trial run with the scrying stone. It is hard not to be impressed by the vivid quality of the quickly written notes of the proceedings. Kelly fell to his knees before Dee's desk and began to pray over the stone; surprised, Dee took Kelly and the stone into his chapel, or oratory.
Within a quarter of an hour, Kelly began to see an angelic shape in the crystal. This being identified itself as the Archangel Uriel, accompanied by Raphael and Michael. Dee was hooked by this immediate success, and so began a long strange relationship between these two men and the angels. For the next seven years, they conducted almost daily sessions. Dee of course wrote everything down in his "Spiritual Diaries," and reading them becomes after a while an exercise in applied surrealism. As an example of a dialogue with the deep unconscious Other, they are unparalleled.
At this first session, the Archangel Uriel revealed his sigil, a rather stylized energy signature, and gave preliminary instructions for a powerful talisman called the Sigil of Truth. Fashioned of wax, it was meant to be used in all future sessions as the base for the scrying crystal. This seal or sigil is at first glance similar to earlier ones by Aggripa and Reuchlin, but the version the spirits produced for Dee and Kelly is more detailed and aesthetically satisfying. Designed as an embedded heptagram/heptagon with a pentagram in the center, the Sigil of Truth theoretically acted as a template or pattern buffer for truthful communication.
The Sigil of Truth also functioned as a geometric foundation on which the rest of the angelic system grew. Around the outer edge of the Sigil is a series of letters and numbers. From these, the angels derived a series of great elemental names, which were said to describe the forces ruling each elemental tablet. The names of the angelic beings within the heptagon/heptagram were transmitted in the form of letters arranged in squares. These squares were then read in different directions to produce even more angelic names. This gives the impression of a vast fractal universe in which the nature of the intelligence consulted depends on the symmetry angle of your approach.
On March 26, Kelly was shown a great book with the leaves filled with squares. For the next 13 months, Dee and Kelly struggled to copy the contents of this angelic volume, despite interruptions and interference from the spirits. The records of these sessions are full of odd material, elemental distractions and strangely accurate prophesies. Some times the spirits wouldn't appear at all. This behavior suggests that the spirits were of several types, with differing agendas, and that they had other things to do than wait for Dee and Kelly to show up for their lessons.
The vision of the book marked the first appearance of material concerned with the angelic language. Since our Mayan origin point for this evolutionary cycle, 3113 BC, there have been something like seven thousand natural languages recorded. Human ingenuity has created perhaps another thousand languages, mostly for religious and magickal uses. But we have no record of any language stranger than the one that emerged from these scrying sessions. Dee and Kelly's Angelic or Enochian language is unique. Even now, it is impossible tell if it is a natural or invented language, or whether it is, indeed, the language of the shining angelic beings.
The alphabet appeared first; twenty-one special characters each with its own title. The titles are odd, with little relationship between title and the phonetic value of the character, and were dictated in three groups of seven totaling 64 characters in all, which suggests another magickal square arrangement. It also suggests the I Ching, the codons of DNA and the Tzolkin calendar of the ancient Mayans. As an added bit of strangeness, 21 is exactly the number of symbols needed to transcribe phonetic English without confusion.
These characters were then used to dictate the first texts in the angelic language. On Good Friday, March 29, 1582, the angels began with a slow deliberate method -- the angel spelled each word, letter by letter, and then Dee wrote out the English and read it back -- to fill in a large 49 x 49 square, where each square was a word and each line a text. After two lines of text, Dee expressed a desire for a simpler method. Annoyed at the request, the angel departed. By the following Tuesday, when the session reconvened, the angels were prepared with a completed square from which Kelly could read off the text. Kelly however had not memorized the letters given the previous week.
Annoyed again, the angel intervened.
A voyce -- Read. E.K. -- I cannot.
<Dee>: You should haue lerned the characters perfectly and theyr names, that you mowght now haue redily named them to me as you shold see them.
A voyce -- Say what thow thinkest. (Dee- he sayd so to E.K.)
E.K. My hed is on fire.
A voyce -- What thow thinkest, euery word that speak.
E.K. I can read all, now, most perfectly, and in the Third row this I see to be red.

What happened here? The angel said "What thou thinkest, every word, that speak," and Kelly miraculously began to read. Perhaps he had notes hidden from Dee, but that "My head is on fire" comment suggests something very strange happened that afternoon. Did the angels, those non-earthly, non-local intelligences, force Kelly's consciousness into resonance with a language pattern coded into our very DNA?
The answer seems to be yes. The texts which Kelly generated from the tables shown to him by the angels resemble the vast literary mandalas of Tibet, and like them are full of phonetic patterning, repetition, rhyme and alliteration. This type of verbal patterning is not found in normal speech, but is characteristic of poetry and magickal charms as well as "speaking in tongues," or glossolalia, that is language produced under trance conditions.
There is no question that Kelly was in some kind of trance during these sessions. Dee notes many occasions indicative of a deep trance state on Kelly's part. However, this does not mean that the "language" produced in these sessions was meaningless gibberish. The phonetic patterning is also similar to verb tense and other grammatical drills. Perhaps Kelly was constructing, in a trance state, the linguistic links his unconscious needed in order to receive a more complete form of the angelic language, one that developed from these original text filled squares.
The squares of the Liber Logaeth, or the "Book of the Speech from God" as Kelly called the great book of his vision, did indeed form the basis of a new series of 49 invocations dictated in the spring of 1584, while Dee and Kelly were in Cracow, Poland. Unfortunately, the details of how this version of the Enochian language developed from the squares is very unclear. All we can be sure of is that it was generated somehow out of the previous tables and squares, and this time a translation was provided right from the start.
With these translations, we begin to find a real language emerging. The grammar and syntax are similar to English, perhaps because of Kelly's unconscious linguistic processes, but vocabulary elements, roots and prefixes and case endings, are not directly derivable from English, Greek, Latin or Hebrew. Some words suggest Sanskrit and ancient Egyptian roots, languages completely unknown to either Dee or Kelly.
In fact, in the earliest sessions on the Sigil of Truth, we find that the name of the elemental king of fire, generated by following a symbolic pattern around the letters and numbers on the rim of the seal, is a perfectly good phonetic rendering of an ancient Egyptian phrase. Following the pattern, which was dictated several years after the Sigil itself, we produce the name Oheooaaatan, pronounced Uh-heh uh-ah-ah ah-ton.
In hieroglyphic Egyptian that becomes uha uhah aton, the very phrase in one of Ra-Harakte's titles, translated as "the penetrating and destructive power of the sun's disk," from which Amenhotep III took the word Aton and turned it into a new definition of divinity. Before we dismiss this as a coincidence, we should note that the elemental king of earth, derived by the same method, renders as Tha-ha-oo-teh, or simply Tehuti, or Thoth to the Greeks.
This is simply astonishing. Phonetic Egyptian did not even exist as a concept. Athanius Kircher declared in the 17th century that all hieroglyphs were symbolic rather than phonetic, and no one thought otherwise until Champollion in the early 19th century. Where did Dee get these Egyptian words and phrases?
We are left with a deep mystery.
The sessions continued until 1589, when Dee returned to England. They produced a vast quantity of material, including the Elemental Tablets ruled by the Great Kings named on the rim of the Sigil of Truth. Kelly remained in Europe and died in 1595 while trying to make his escape after a failed alchemical scam. Dee survived until 1608.
Hard as they worked to produce this mountain of magickal material, Dee and Kelly seem never to have done anything with it. Kelly used some formulas given to him by the spirits in his alchemical "research," but beyond that no further work was undertaken until Elias Ashmole in the next century. Perhaps it was enough just to have received the information.
What are we to make of all this? From the evidence of Egypt, we have speculated that our use of language and our ability to visualize complex forms, such as letters and glyphs, allows our thoughts to attain a degree of coherence. Dee's "Radical Truths" demonstrates that these precepts survived the millennia, perhaps as the secret intellectual property of some descendent of the Ra Cult. Dee revealed much of the secret in his "Monas Hieroglyphica," as if to say to the world, or other worlds, "Here it is, we still remember."
The angels came looking for Dr. Dee, much as Michael Rene, the space visitor, sought out Sam Jaffe, the brilliant physicist, in "The Day the Earth Stood Still." What they communicated was a geometrical, symmetry based, DNA coded language pattern capable of producing a rapid expansion of consciousness and an increase in symbol coherent cognition. This unique language form also appears to have Sanskrit and ancient Egyptian roots. Dr. Dee understood the information's importance, but the rest of the world, in the late 16th century, was very much not interested.
In many ways, Dee and Kelly's experience is similar to nineteenth century spiritualism and the modern UFO contactee phenomenon. Even the types of prophecies, Mary Queen of Scots' execution and the Spanish Armada, are familiar to us from their modern versions. To most historians, Dee's work is the dividing line between medieval superstition and modern science. Dee is indeed a turning point, but, rather, it is one between intervention and non-intervention. In the four hundred years between Dee's time and ours, one Mayan baktun, the secret has never completely disappeared. Faced with the approaching 5200 year deadline of the Mayan Calendar, the level of intervention has reached a frenzied pace in the last hundred and fifty years. Had Kelly and Dee been born in Victorian England instead of Elizabethan, they might have achieved fortune and fame, or at least notoriety. With the spirits' help, of course.
